That idea gave me high hopes, but crashed. I've turned off all other modules and I still get the same error.

Can you try a fresh Drupal 7 and CiviCRM install on the same host and see if it works?

If so, then try using your CiviCRM DB on that install and see if it works.

You read my mind. In fact, I just tried that (fresh Drupal 7.22 and fresh CiviCRM 4.1.5) and I'm still getting the
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare drupal_error_levels() in /home/scethics/dev.scethics.org/includes/errors.inc on line 16

So, I tried fresh Drupal 7.22 and fresh CiviCRM 4.1.5 on my own server and I DON'T get that error. At first glance, all seems well.

Any suggestions for determining which server settings I could/should investigate?

BTW, this seems like a good time to reinforce how grateful I am for all the help up to this point. I couldn't have gotten this far on my own. Thanks again.

If the exact same code works on your local server but not on your production server then you should ask your sys admin or host for assistance.

In reality the code you are using is known to work with no problem on literally thousands of other sites so it sounds like either your code base is not correct, but if you got fresh copies then it should be, so that only other culprit would appear to be the server.

Re: Difficulties upgrading 4.1.5 from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7

I discovered that I don't get any errors with a fresh copy of Drupal 7 and a fresh copy of CiviCRM 4.3.3, so I've applied both of those to my real databases. Now, I only get the redeclare errors on my Donations pages. I've contacted DreamHost for help with those.

I'm darn close. Thanks for all the help, eps. Hershel.
