well it doesn't work somehow now....

The organization name and email are pulled in as they should be once I had the relationship permissions, but the contrib page still creates a new organization record instead of using the one that already exists and for which the data is populated in the Organization name and email fields....

Why wouldn't create the membership on the existing organization contact record instead of creating a whole new duplicate organization record?

My Dedupe rules were messed up.....There was a rule for unsupervised organizations, but there were no fields specified....I added Organization Name as one of the fields in the rule, and Boom it started adding the memberships to the currently existing org
