Google Summer of Code 2014
January 24, 2014, 08:41:19 pm
I am interested in applying for Google Summer of Code 2014 with CiviCRM. Following threads have ideas for GSoC and discussions but have been inactive lately - http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/plugins/servlet/mobile#content/view/62291969 and http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=30506.0

Now that the application date is a week away, I wanted to know the status and connect with prospective mentors. Could someone guide me in this regard?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if @petednz meant to link to something else, but I've posted https://civicrm.org/blogs/kreynen/google-wants-pay-developer-5000-turn-your-project-ideas-code-part-google-summer-code to outline the next steps in the GSoC application process.

@teja-amil were you hoping to participate as a student?

@kreynen - Yes. I am an undergraduate student and I want to work on CiviCRM for GSoC 2014. Appreciate your instructions in the blog post. Presently, I am familiarizing myself with CiviCRM environment. I hope to come up with ideas for some potential projects soon.
