all the joomla post are in the uk time so it appear civicrm can't pick up the time zone

My joomla has the correct time on comments pages but not in civicrm that is where the problem is

Jeremy - if you know the Joomla! equivalent of this function https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/blob/master/CRM/Utils/System/Drupal.php#L962 - it would be good to supply it as a patch - that will fix the mysql timezone - but not the php

For Wordpress there is actually a function in the bootstrap that picks up the WP timezone & sets it in Civi

Hello. Was there an answer to this question in the end? I have the same problem. Our server time is set to local (UK) time, Joomla is also set to "London" in the Local Timezone setting, and are both are showing the expected time. CiviCRM, however, shows local time minus 1 hour. What is the easiest way of correcting this? Thanks.
