Drupal and civicrm correct collation, problems if the collation is not the same
January 20, 2015, 01:26:13 am
Hello everyone,

What is the correct collation for the drupal and civicrm database??

If you install a new version of drupal the tables collation becomes utf8_general_ci, and the tables of a new installation of civicrm becomes utf8_unicode_ci.
Would there be problems if the collation is not the same??

greetings

Hershel

The answer is that it should be OK to use different collations.
