Yes I have taken a look at your stack-trace on pastebin. I don't think the problem you are facing has anything to do with the python code. You have to follow the steps for setting up the env for a test case inorder to able to execute the sample test scripts. You don't always have to jump into the code everytime you run into and error. From your stack-trace, you can see that the problem is as a result of missing dependencies. This is because you haven't not properly configure the test env for that test script you want to execute.  They are two example test script in the package, you should know the purpose of each test script and the function of each file in the test script folder with that you will be able to find your way out!

Ping me on IRC @mesode and we will talk more about it. But try out the recommended example first and see it work for you

cheers

@xavier and @eugenge23, Joshua finally replied. From the look of things we still have to do more digging. Boofuzz  according to Joshua may not be the ideal choice for web app fuzzing. Also given his unfamiliarity with CiviCRM, he could not really make meaningful recommendations concerning our project idea. :o

Hi Mesode,
He replied to me too saying the same thing, but i think ' everything being equal' i told to him how he could possibly get to know about civiCRM and also i sent to Xavier his email. that not withstanding i think it is an advantage as it gives u room to explore how the fuzzing can be done. on my part i think that we could still work from start and do our own 'Fuzzer' why not?. This will go a long way to avoid all the issues which i am facing trying to test using the platform and not forgetting the integration issues.

Cheers

Hi @eugene23, I have been exploring this tool I stumble on last night. I think it can do the trick, but we can only confirm if it is the right tool for the task base on what will be adopted as test requirements for CiviCRM. Check it out here http://wapiti.sourceforge.net/

Best Regards
