Thank you lobo. To disagree may lead to a better solution.

I will try to do the integration (will need help from time to time, thanks in advance). I am willing to document the result, which will  prove the best way.

The ACL/Permission System is still elusive to me. That means, the resulting behaviour is not what I expect from the setting I have made. I'll contact you on IRC to iron that out, In my opinion it is not easy to understand. Perhaps this has to do with standalone, which has none of drupal available.
