CiviCase & Drupal Views
February 16, 2009, 08:32:17 am
I have read that views can now query the Civicrm table - which is great.

I am looking for examples on how to create a drupal view that will query civicrm's civicase data. What to do, is enter cases with civicase, and have the  last 3-5 opened cases shown in a drupal block. Depending on permission - they will see the block, and be able to get into the case details.

Any suggestions or practical examples on how to set it up would be most welcome :)

You will need to add code to incorporate the case tables and expose them to views.

You can check the current code for various tables at: http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/branches/v2.2/drupal/modules/views/

if you do extend it to handle case tables, please file an issue and attach the modified / new files as  a patch.

if you need any help contact us on IRC :)
