there is a sitewide setting for this now, so u can increase / decrese it (check in admin settings (maybe misc?))

however no progress on this on a per link basis

thanks - it is at civicrm/admin/setting/misc?reset=1
which is now called Undelete, Logging and Recaptcha (rather than Misc. as it used to be)
reason I couldn't find on site in question was because we have frozen that site at 3.4.7 !
