It's great that you're able to test IATS for Joomla.

Re: white page - that sounds like a fatal PHP error. It's likely to be some kind of Joomla compatibility issue, but if you could update your php settings to display errors instead of dying without a message we might be able to fix it.

Re: $AU - the API I was provided by IATS only indicated support for C$ and US$. I'm guessing AU$ has been added since then. If you get an updated API for me I can update the code, or you can probably just look at the code and add it [but don't do this on a production server ..].

Thanks all.

Even with a myriad of issues, the community the CiviCRM community has really helped here.

I'm going to talk to IATS about the AUD part and will get the php error messages on to work thorugh that over the weekend.

Will report back here.

Hi Eileen,

Yes Alan did write the IATS code.

He indicated to me that he was going to update it to use the new api with multi currency support. Haven't got it yet and after good correspondence with Alan for a while haven't had returns to my emails for a while now. Will post back if we get it done.

Yes, i did write that IATS code and apologies for being awol on this topic. Still hoping to find some time this week to look at it.

Okay, it's ready for some testing.

I've appended the two updated (version 1.3.2) IATS api files to replace the existing ones located here:

packages/Services/IATS

You'll need to remove the .txt extension [which i had to add to allow me to attach them here]

Then you can modify the plugin here:

CRM/Core/Payment/IATS.php

on line 44 and add in UK and AUS currencies to the allowed list.

If someone from those countries can test and confirm it works, i'll commit it to the repository.

Working, I think.

Am getting:

Not sure if this is an error with the merchant details I have added or not. i know the card is good. Will find out and get back to you.

Have another issue in creating contribution pages, but will post another thread for that one.

FYI, when adding the currencies supported to CRM/Core/Payment/IATS.php it should be AUD for Australia and not AUS. That spat back another error which was fixed by adding AUD.

Just an update. All cards tried are returning the error. IATS are looking @ the logs and seeing if they can shed some light as to where the error is coming from. Will update as I know more.

FYI. The error was because I was trying to put through an amount which was too low. 5 cents.

Changed to $1 and all went through aok.

Okay, that's great. So:

1. I'll commit the new files to the repository -- lobo: can your remind me whether i should update the current branch or trunk? I'll post them to my blog posting as well for anyone who needs to use them for a  previous version.

2. Let's fix the issue that IATS is missing from the initial list - is that something I can/should do, or the CiviCRM core developers?

Okay, i've just committed the new api files, as well as updating the IATS.php to allow AUD, GBP, EUR, NZD currencies with this processor [rev. 22189 and 22193].

okay, i've just been setting up IATS on 2.2 and discovered it's broken because my updates never made it into the current distribution.

Lobo - the updated files look good in the v2.2 branch, but they never made it to trunk and aren't in the downloaded version of 2.2.9.

The files are the ones in here /packages/Services/IATS

My apologies to lobo - it turns out the bug was all mine. I've just uploaded the fixes to the 3.0 and 2.2 svn branches, and documented a quick fix here:
