problems with install on media temple grid server
May 20, 2009, 05:07:42 pm
I'm having problems installing civicrm 2.2.2 in a drupal 6.12 site.

It worked fine on my localhost when I was in development, but once I tried to install at media temple, I've been running into many different errors.

It seems to go through the install of civi fine -- accepts my db settings and all that, and gives me confirmation that it has been installed.

when I go to the configuration settings, I get this error:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'XML data could not be loaded. Make sure you specified the correct path.' in /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Filter/Storage.php:217 Stack trace: #0 /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Filter/Storage.php(108): IDS_Filter_Storage->getFilterFromXML() #1 /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Monitor.php(167): IDS_Filter_Storage->__construct(Object(IDS_Init)) #2 /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/IDS.php(131): IDS_Monitor->__construct(Array, Object(IDS_Init)) #3 /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Invoke.php(74): CRM_Core_IDS->check(Array) #4 /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module(339): CRM_Co in /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/IDS/Filter/Storage.php on line 217

when I go to my website, ncbi.meandherdesigns.com , I get these two drupal errors:

    * warning: include_once(sites/default/civicrm.settings.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module on line 236.
    * warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'sites/default/civicrm.settings.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php-5.2.6-1/share/pear') in /nfs/c04/h03/mnt/64507/domains/ncbi.meandherdesigns.com/html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module on line 236.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

It seems like your server runs on Linux. Which operating system did you use for your local environment? Sometimes you run  into trouble porting it from Windows to Linux...
