Hi Kiran

Yes, our status ID got changed, we suspect during upgrade from 2.0 to 2.2 because the UI doesn't allow editing or deletion of that status.

Another forum user reported the same situation. Hence I used the pseudoconstant code which uses the status name "Pending" rather than the status ID - that would explain why line 679 wasn't handling it correctly.
