Is it possible to restrict upload field file types?

Is it possible to pre-define which file extensions can be uploaded through File custom data field? If, so, where is this setting?

Pretty sure that's controlled here: /civicrm/admin/options/safe_file_extension?group=safe_file_extension&reset=1
