CRM Menu doesnt work, Drupal homepage CRM menu works
September 27, 2009, 01:17:50 am
Hi, After some familliarising with a bit of basic, now I got a friends drupal civicrm files from server to setup locally and help him up a bit with some changes. I agree that I am newbie but with a some understanding of the CRM flow, tables, I am trying to move in the data from a data sheets.

I have successfully set the site in my local machine but there are few problems i find:-
1. I am getting 404 when i try to access civiCase with this link:
    http://demo.com/civicrm/case&reset=1
    even though the same link works fine on server.
2. http://demo.com/civicrm/dashboard?reset=1 => Does not work
http://demo.com/?q=civicrm/dashboard?reset=1  => works
3.  http://demo.com/civicrm/case&reset=1 => Does not work
 http://demo.com/?q=civicrm/case&reset=1  => works but shows access denied

Recent activities:
Installed phpunit

Observations:
Menus that does not work above are from the top CiviCRM menu.
Even though the top menu list all including civiCase, the left drop to create new CRM Record does not show Case option.

I do feel i am missing something, atleast if i could get the civicase working fine, it wud be great. I really want to know how
case, activity and events are related and when i migrate to events table, whether i shud do any action for case or activity creation.

I hope i could convey 10% of my observations above, and request some expertise to help me with some pointers.

Regards,

saffron

1. make sure drupal clean urls are enabled on the server

2. make sure civicase component is enabled
