Scheduling mail
September 28, 2009, 07:06:43 am
Using an older version w/D5 (2.0.6). I can't figure out how to get a key etc for setting up a CiviMail Cron Job.

I've got another site set up with the same version using cron, but I can't find the setting/etc page in the system.
thanks for any help.

cheers,
adam

thank you .. i've got it partly working now.
it is saying it's completed (Civimail send status of the newsletter) now when I run the job, but none of us on the list are receiving emails.

thoughts?

thank you for any help.

Has anyone got a suggestion for what I should check? This same server is successfully sending emails from another instance of Civicrm and the CiviMail listing says the mailing is sent after I run the job, but it's not sending the mail... Thoughts?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
thanks,
adam

Did you send test mail before sending this mailing? If the test mail worked, you may need to check your mail log. There could be various reasons that you didn't get the email.
