Missing Whole Directories Mentioned in Installation Guide!

The installation guide says this after you ftp the files up to your site:

" You should now have a drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm directory with a number of directories below it (including bin, CRM, sql and templates)"

I don't have ANY of the directories listed at the end of this snippet.  Underneath the main civicrm directory I have: api, css, js, packages, standalone

The installation guide goes on to say that I need to run the installer here:  http://<your_drupal_home>/sites/all/modules/civicrm/install/index.php

But this file does not exist!  I don't even have an "install" directory.  Am I missing something?!

I used ftp.  I don't see why this would make a difference.

Probably FTP transferred some of the files and then timed out or something.

Trouble is, you don't know how far it  got before it died, or exactly what's missing.

The same issue here.

I see (on my Windows PC with ARC132c) that all the files are in the tarbal. They don't untar all, only the map's api, css, js and packeges.

I uploaded the tarrbal to my server, untarring there goes perfect.
