Advanced Search
October 01, 2009, 09:54:27 am
When I want to search using "Advanced Search", I only see one defined custom field (the first).
So when I see the "Advanced Search" form, I browse down "Custom Field" and when I open it, there is only one custom field (and I should be 15).

Is this a bug? (or a feature  ;) )

Edwin

It seems that only custom data group with gid=1 is displayed (This is also the case in the civi demo).
I my case I deleded group with gid=1 and created an other one.

Strange. Is it only me or have others the same issue.

Edwin.

Can you check if fields that do not show up have "Is this Field Searchable?" checkbox turned on?

Thx,
m

Hi thanks Michał,

Yes, that's the case. All Custom fields but one was not searchable.  Thanks for that!

What will be the disadvantages is I make all Custom fields searchable?
Does It effect only backend searches (I use Joomla)

Hey,

No, there shouldn't be any disadvantages. Search conditions based on custom fields will be used only when you explicitly choose them.

Thx,
m
