I just upgraded 2.2.9 to 3.0.0 and though the installation seemed to go just fine with no errors shown, now CiviCRM doesn't work at all.

CiviCRM is installed under Drupal 6.14.

Here is what happens:

1. Go to main drupal home page, sign in.  All works fine.
2. Click on CiviCRM.  It opens the page as expected and looks fine.
3. If I click on any link (even to go back to the drupal main home page, or any civicrm link, or any item in the civicrm menus at the top of the page), the page greys out, a white rectangular box appears with the rotating circular "wait while the page is loading" animation, and then a black and white photo of a camera with a slash through it appears (ie, the "no photography allowed here" symbol), along with an "X" to close that popup box.

When you click the "X" the process just repeats (ie, screen greys out, white box with circular "wait" animation appears, then camera/slash graphic appears again).

This happens with every single link clicked on that page, every time, even links that take you off that page to somewhere else.

You can't get out of that loop, except by pressing the esc. key or just navigating to another page altogether.

I already tried most of the upgrade troubleshooting suggestions at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+3.0 (ie, making sure resource URLs are OK, resetting the session, making sure the settings file is OK, deleting the files in templates_c, etc.

No joy so far.

Any ideas for solving this would be very much appreciated!

Do you have lightbox module installed for your site?  There was a bug which is fixed in dev version of lightbox.  Try using dev version or disable lightbox.

Which lightbox module are you all referring to?
