1st Try with Drupal
October 03, 2009, 06:40:00 am
I've been using Civi with Joomla for a couple of years.  I'm trying to set up a Drupal install on a test server.  My php is set up with only mysqli enabled.  Is that why the Civi installer is reporting:
Quote
MySQL support   MySQL support not included in PHP.

Is there a place to switch a setting in the installer to mysqli?

for 3.0 and prior, we need mysql extension in php

if you want to provide a patch to the installer to support both mysql and mysqli that would be great and highly appreciated

Thanks for the pointers, lobo.

I'll take a look at the mysqli issue as soon as I can...
