Page cannot be found and SQL errors
October 04, 2009, 12:33:11 pm
Drupal 6.14 and tried to upgrade from CIVICRM 2.29 to 3.0. I couldn't get the upgrade screen as I kept getting page not found errors. I have seen a couple threads on this but no solution. The module was locking up the module area in drupal with sql errors. I tried upgrading using the path in the wiki and the the full path /sites/all/modules/civicrm ....

I had to revert to 2.29 for a production site. Then the urls would not work there for a few minutes (with page not found errors) and eventually started working (I don't know what changed).

Any ideas on how to proceed? I just upgraded at the request of the site owner a week before 3.0 came out and I figured I should do it now.

Thanks!

I hope you are following this instructions: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+3.0

Can you also confirm that you have not disabled the civicrm module itself. We had added instructions in the above document telling folks to disable any CiviCRM integration modules (e.g. CiviCRM Member Roles Synch) - but that has caused some confusion. We've added a note reinforcing that you should NOT disable the CiviCRM module itself.
