Getting checksums working for Events
October 05, 2009, 05:35:50 pm
Hi all - I have a client who is willing to stump up a share of the expected US$3-400 to get checksums sorted so they work for Events. This is relatively small price to be seeking contributions for - but you know, every bit helps. Anyone else keen to pay a share for this to ensure it gets done soon and properly? Email me - peter.davis@fuzion.co.nz

Hi - no not really. The checksum system currently only works with Contributions and Profiles. So we are keen to see it extended so that when a CiviMail is sent out relating to an Event, people can click on the checksum link and arrive at the Event Registration form, with the form already pre-filled with the contacts data as a result of the checksum sidestepping the login process.

Does that help?

Yes, that would be useful.... though I can't get the current checksum system to work with Joomla  :(

How much more do you need, Peter? I can put a bit in from internal funds.
