We’re seeking a Senior PHP/LAMP Developer stationed at TechSoup's office in
Warsaw, Poland, and reporting to the TechSoup.org development organization in San Francisco.
In this role, you will participate in the design, development,
implementation, and maintenance of several web based applications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new applications
- Follow agile development process and attend daily scrum and other
required meetings remotely
- Support existing applications by implementing new functions and features,
fixing bugs, troubleshoot for potential problems and respond to support
calls
- Proactively communicate with technical lead and project managers on the
status of the projects
- Plan skills road map in conjunction with the manager and stay on top of
the learning curve
- Work flexible hours as many of the people you will be communicating with
will be in different time zones.

Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years S/W development experience in PHP, and MYSQL
- 2+ years of Drupal development experience
- Other standard web skills such as HTML, XML, Java script, Ajax, CSS.
- LAMP stack system administration capability
- Experience in integrating web services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Since this position is remotely located, success of this position is
predicated on excellent organization skills and fluency in both oral and
written English
- Fluent Polish oral and written.
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently and be capable of assuming
lead role in the near future
- Quality conscious and passionate about making a positive impact
- Experience in following source code management, preferably Subversion

Preferred Skills/Pluses
- Experience with CiviCRM or other CRMs.
- Ability to write and work with JQuery scripts.
- Experience in Agile and/or Test-Driven Development.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented design.
