Dojo.tpl missing from fresh 3.0 install

Hey guys -

I installed 3.0 to an existing Drupal 6.14 site, after configuring permissions, I try to access the CiviCRM home and I get this error:

user warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRM/common/dojo.tpl" in /home/.tibert/omnicenter_admin/omnicenter.org-6.14/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1094.</code>

In addition, none of the link normally in the CiviCRM menu have been built (admin CiviCRM, links to components, manage groups, etc). However, I am able to access the admin screen by entering the URL.

Note: CiviCRM was installed on this site previously, but it was not being used. I disabled the module, removed the code, and am using a fresh database.

Matthew,

I had an error like that after upgrading from v2.2, but on Joomla!

For me the issue was that (somehow) old templates that had been cached from v2.2 were being referenced.

Find 'em and delete 'em. The directory is something like .../media/civicrm/template_c/en_US/en_US (Delete the directory tree under here.)

Hi

I have been making some configuration to the civi and an error message appears:

 'Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRM/common/dojo.tpl" in /var/www/vhosts/esn.millertech-civicrm.co.uk/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1094.'

Menu items appear to be duplicated with Civi - any reason to why this has happened?

Currently using version 3 and have deleted the exisiting templates as mentioned below. Is there any way in solving this problem?

Does the file /var/www/vhosts/esn.millertech-civicrm.co.uk/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/civicrm/templates/CRM/common/dojo.tpl exist in your install?

Hi There,

Just upgraded to 3.0.2 standalone and am having the same problem-

Php error:
Code: [Select]
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRM/common/dojo.tpl" in /home/ukycc/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1094
And no admin menus. I've tried deleting the contents of the templates_c folder in order to refresh it, but doesn't seem to work. As the error says, dojo.tpl doesn't exist in CRM/common/dojo.tpl - should it?

No - dojo.tpl is no longer part of the codebase.

1. most likely u did not clear the right templates_c

2. if the problem still exists, do a recursive search for dojo.tpl and see which file is including it
