hi,

dont really know, if this is the best category for my post, sorry.

I am searching for handling with custom mailings templates for a while. How to do this the right way? Would like to upload some full styled templates with images and css, which i can choose from while create a new mailing?!

Two ways to do this:

1. Go to Administer CiviCRM >> Configure >> Message Templates and create the template their using the WYSIWYG editor. (You can paste HTML "Source" in to the editor their if that makes sense). Save the template(s) - and then when your users go to New Mailing - on step 3 they can pick from the available templates.

OR

2. Go to Mailings >> New Mailing and on Step 3 you can Upload your formatted message and then check the "Save as Template" box near the bottom of that page. You can potentially do this several times to save a number of different templates - with or without actually sending anything out.

ok, thanks, that the way i already have found.

but there is no way to upload (i.e.) a picture to the media archive of joomla or civiCMR or formating the message/mail with css.
