Past Mailings through Frontpage

Hello All and CiviCrm team.
My question: is it possible to display past Mailings to allow users read past emails. It's ok if it possible to do this for archived listings.
If peoples join to us we want to give them opportunity to read past emails.

currently we dont expose mailings on a public page

this has the makings of a great community contribution for civicrm, where you expose a set of your civicrm mailings (specifically the content) in a nice manner to the user.

Consider making a contribution and/or sponsoring the development. Hoping does not help the issue get resolved :(
