Having trouble creating HTML message templates
August 29, 2007, 07:15:45 am
Is there a specific format or guidelines I need to follow when creating an HTML email message template?

Everything I try is sending a blank email message.

Thanks,
Jen

Jen:

There is no specific guideline, just standard HTML. Note that HTML message specified in Message Template is send only if it is used for Membership Reminder Email.  When sending email we also check  'preferred_mail_format'  for that particular contact is HTML.

Currently you can send only text messages using "Send an Email" in Contact Summary.
