A button that prints a label

I've got the latest CiviCRM, with Drupal, and it would be near to perfect if my users could find a contact, and click a button or select an action that prints a mailing label to a Smart Label printer (which they each have on their desks).  The print mailing labels works well for groups, and we export to a large envelope printer for large groups, but for an individual label, we're retyping them. 

I found this article, but it's in Joomla!, and my site is in Drupal : http://glast.pi.infn.it/mech/Joomla/Componenti/civicrm/CRMDOC/8376.html.

Please advise by email if you can do this, and how much it will cost.  We are happy to contribute the solution back if it might be of interest to others.

Here you can find a recipe for code to include a print button on your contact summary page.
I'm currently editing this solution to provide a button "Print smart label" for each location.
When it's ready i will propose it as a "feature request".

OH, btw...I see we are both refering to the same page!
The code you are refering to points to a civicrm template-file. It is the same for both DRUPAL and JOOMLA. So you can already implement the solution by editing the .tpl file.

Well, I tried, and I got a button, but it's in the wrong place, and it sends a blank print job to the label printer, and requires a change to the browser page setup every time, so that's not really what I wanted.

This isn't the most urgent thing I've got to do right now, so I'm hoping I'll get back to it sometime and make my users happy, but in the meantime, if anyone wants to be paid to do this, please let me know.
