After having created a couple of custom fields, I have succesfully matched and imported a CSV file. The second time, though, an extra empty dropdown box appeared next to my custom field. When I tried to go on with the importing process, I got errors on all rows: "Invalid field: field_ID". I think this has something to do with that extra field.

I truncated the civicrm_cache table, but am now faced with not seeing the custom fields in the dropdown boxes. And still the extra box exists.

Should I add this as an issue?

I am trying to get support for SSH from my provider. In the mean time, I could provide you with FTP access and web access; could this help?

Alas, I cannot get SSH.

However, I have noticed the following:

As mentioned before, two of the custom fields are not available in the dropdown box. But in the mapping field table I saw that the one with the extra empty box had the value 1 in the column location_type_id. When I deleted that value (set it to null) the extra box did not come up during the import and I was able to import.

The only thing that is still not right is that the custom fields do not show. I will try to figure that out.

Issue has returned. I have noticed the following:
- The number of "invalid field_ID's" match the number of custom fields.
- The issue does not arise when logged as an administrator, only when a restricted user is used.

I will try to set up a test environment and SSH access.

No, he did not. Adding this permission this solves it.

Perhaps I was confused because the custom fields are shown during the mapping process in steps 2 and 3. Should they be available then?
