Can I combine household relationship types?
October 21, 2009, 10:11:18 am
In the standard set up there are 2 relationshiptypes provided that link an individual to a household:
Head of Household and Household Member.
In my project I have to deal with people that belong to a Household that pay the bills (believe it or not, usually Mum and Dad :-)) and people that are part of the household but do not pay (like children). So these two relationship types suit my needs.
However, I also want to use the functionality where I link the Household Address to an Individual.
I use the API to add contacts, and populate
Quote
mail_to_household_Id
to achieve the link to the Household address. Can I do this for the Head of Household-relationship type too?
