Hi there,

I'm totally new to CiviCRM. I've just finished setting up a membership signup form for a client and have managed to get everything to display the right way so far. The only problem is, there is an extra email address field in there that appears right underneath the "membership type" section, and it's marked as a required field, which I don't want.

I have already included a non-mandatory custom email field in the profile I created to collect additional information for the signups, so I was looking for a way to remove that first email field. But I can't figure out how to disable it. I went back through all the steps for configuring a contribution page and I don't see where that particular email field is enabled/disabled. Could anyone please point me in the right direction?
