We are trying to finish our Joomla/CiviCRM site.  Asa for the CRM portion, we are trying to have under a menu name:

Donor Registration

In here, the contributor will commit to donating money and/or services.  If money, how much?  If services, what kind (drop down as well as other) and the monthly number of hour and estimated value of the service?

Recipient Registration

What type of services do the need?  What is their situation?  If money, what is it for?  Family composition (or individual).  If there are events coming up or if there are future events, would they be be willing to donate time (give back type of thing)?

Of course we will need all of the individuals information as well.

Can the donor and recipient information be placed into a database where we can match the recipients request with an appropriate donor?

I am trying to see if this is possible and if yes what is the easiest way to make it happen.  We would like to make the site live by next week.

Our temp site is www.lifemessage.org/lm  The site will soon be moved to www.lifemessage.org (no /lm)

1. You might want to check and play with the online demo: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/

2. The Book is also helpful: http://en.flossmanuals.net/CiviCRM

CiviCRM does have the donation/pledge part for money. You'll have to come up with some creative ways to account for services, not sure of the top of my head how u'll do it (potentially via custom fields?)

there is no donor <-> recipient matching stuff. You'll need to write custom code
