Serious import errors
October 25, 2009, 12:53:38 pm
Just when i imagined i had all the kinks smoothed out in my members import, with date fields reformatted and values in the columns forced to be civi minded, i get this error on a blank screen when i should be at my final stage in the import process:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

One of parameters (value: 0) is not of the type Timestamp

Return to home page.

then when i go to try it again, i get pages of these errors:

warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/wpt/public_html/drp/sites/all/modules/civicrm/api/v2/utils.php on line 367.

i'm stumped. can anyone help me out?

have you tried doing an export of a test contact that has data in all the revelant fields so you can verify that your data is of the right format - it is often worth looking at this from the other end of the pipel

the export of the contacts seems to work fine. what's not working is the member import.

an update on my adventure.

i downgraded to the latest stable version (v 3.0) and tried it all again. This time at the same place i got the last error (above)

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/wpt/public_html/drp/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Member/Import/Parser/Membership.php on line 221

my point wasn't to test the export = but to look at the structure of the fields exported eg dates etc, so you know you have valid data in your import - but maybe you know that isn't the issue - good luck

the fields of the contacts looked fine and tested at the last stage of the import seemed fine. its not until i push that last button that it get's screwed up.
