Broken links/urls after upgrade in civimails (hostname dissapeared)
October 26, 2009, 05:04:56 am
I use Civimail for generating daily newsletter.
After upgrade 2.2 to 3.0 I encuntered broken links/urls in newsletter.
All links are broken.

Image url has changed:
from
http://www.vikerkaaresild.org//sites/vks/vks_theme/logo.png
to
http:///.//sites/vks/vks_theme/logo.png

Other trackable urls/links have changed in this way:
Original:
http://www.vikerkaaresild.org/node/3359
Trackable:
http://www.vikerkaaresild.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=2342&qid=139529
Will finally point to:
http://./node/3359

Meanwhile I'll try to disable url tracking...

This happens only in production environment,
my testing environment works fine.

If somebody has any idea,
help is appreciated!

What's your WYSIWYG editor? Are you on CiviCRM v3.0.1 ?

Thanks Kurund for the questions!

I discovered that I made two changes at one time,
one was civicrm upgrade and the other one was changes in crontab.
It turned out that it was not fault of the civicrm,
but changes I made to crontab.

Now I see that things like this wont work:
cd /www/xxx/html; /usr/bin/php cron.php
instead of
/usr/bin/wget -O - -q -t 1 'http://www.xxx.org/cron.php'
because a lot of webserver variables are undefined, including HTTP_HOST.
