"Missing Menu/Dashboard" After Installing 3.01 Upgrade
October 26, 2009, 08:47:40 am
Hi,

I am having the same missing dashboard issue reported on 3.0, after uploading and executing the 3.01 upgrade.  I followed the instructions quite exactly: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+3.0

The file I download was: civicrm-3.0.1-drupal.tar.gz - Thu Oct 08 2009 10:41

I don't know how to work around this problem - am reviewing other posts on the subject, but I am in the ditch.  Any help is of course gratefully received.

Best,

-Joe

can u elaborate on what u mean by that?

can u also see if the same thing is "missing" on the demo server

do upgrade to 3.0.2 and ensure it works / does not work on that version

Hi Lobo,

When I first installed CiviCRM (2.X), and set my browser to http://www.domain_name/civicrm, I had a number of permalinks available to me.

What I believe has happened is that the options that were listed on the web page itself in 2.X are now contained in the overhead menu with the black background ribbon, which is fine.

So, it appears for the moment that all is well in this regard, and that this complaint should be closed.

Many thanks,

-Joe
