Sychronizing users in drupal - multiple contact records have same email address

I have my organizations and invididuals fully imported in my civicrm records now.  I've noticed a lot of the organizations use the same email address as their primary contact individual - will this cause a problem at all when I go to synchronize the drupal accounts with the individual contact records?

I'm assuming and hoping not, since I thought only individuals can be associated with drupal records.

Pretty sure this should be ok - did a quick test on my local 3.0 sandbox with an organization and individual having same email address and things worked fine. Still best to try this on a test copy of your site / DB if possible (or at least take a backup of the DB / DBs - if CiviCRM and Drupal are in separate DBs) before proceeding.

why did i think synchronize would only run on individuals - thought you had a no-no about orgs having drupal accounts

Peter - from a quick scan of the code I can't see that it limits the matching check to Individuals only. Might be a bug? If you can set up a test where it matches to an org record, please file an issue.
