Hi Everyone,

I am enquiring if there is any way possible where there is a module that can do job costing/ project costing using CiviCRM in conjuction with Drupal?

Hi,

Can use activities (either custom field or use the duration if the cost is related to the duration), and probably write I custom report ?

But would this be help with costing of the project and show the various costs for example: Books/publications they sell – an example may be a book that they sell at £5.00. what they are keen to know is how the real cost of this product ie there will be certain costs involved in making this that will result in the true cost for example they will have costs such as editorial, design, sub editing, type setting

Hi,

You probably would use a case to group all the activities about publishing the book.

You will need to (or hire someone) write a custom report to list all the activities of the case and sum nicely the cost (custom fields) or duration so you got that report for each case/book/project.
