'Table missing' error

Hello,

The 3.01 upgrade is working very well for the largest part for me.

I am having an issue while trying to delete a custom field that is no longer in use.  When attempting to delete, I get this message:

I am not so concerned about the deletion of a field I am not using so much as that the act of trying to delete has pointed up what may be a much greater concern.

It goes w/o saying that any insights are as always, gratefully received.

can u check and see all the tables that are present which are named like 'civicrm_value_%';

mysql> show tables like  'civicrm_value_%';

should give you the list of tables

The table civicrm_value_membership_profile_3 does indeed appear to be missing.

Is it possible to reintegrate a shell table of the same name into the system - run a dbcheck or somesuch?

no idea why/how it is missing. I would probably go into mysql shell and delete the custom group (and all the fields) associated with membership_profile_3 and then recreate it again

Hmmm . . not to be a dummy but . .

I am generally familiar w/phpMyAdmin, and am proficient w/general handling of tables and such.  I am not however sure where to look for the references to delete that you mention above.
