Disappearing events

Setup Info: Joomla 1.5.14 CiviCRM 3.02

An event I setup has disappeared (this seems unrelated to upgrade as it disapperard on 3.01) Just logged in and it wasn't there. Cant find anything more helpful to say except someone else mentions disappearing registrations.

This is such a potential show stopper yet a complete mystery at the mo.

Does any one have a suggestion on how to move forward on finding out if there is a real problem? I guees for now I will add events and take snapshots of the db ....

Is it gone, or just not visible in the default display for Manage Events (which doesn't show past events unless you set a date range in the search box)?

Also, just to verify that you created an Event and not an Event Template (different menu option to do Event Templates). If that's a possibility = check the listing under the Events >> Event Templates menu item.

A search spanning dates 2000 -2009 doesnt show the event
The event seems to have just gone. I  just had a look in the event table and there are three events with all null entries and a few records concerning event templates (eg online free etc). The original event was made in Civi 3.01 and I was editing templates before upgrading. Beyond that I cant be sure of much else.

I wil just recreate some and try and break ;)
