...more install problems
November 01, 2009, 09:20:40 am
On a whim I went back after deleting the directorys created in root and admin, and tried to install 2.2.8 and got the following error message:

 -1 - An error has occurred.

It was not possible to copy the selected file.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

An update.

I clean out the prior installation and tried installing the 3.0.2-joomla.zip package and got the
following error:

        * Install Component Success

Error

        * Error Loading ModulesMySQL server has gone away SQL=SELECT id, title, module, position, content, showtitle, control, params FROM jos_modules AS m LEFT JOIN jos_modules_menu AS mm ON mm.moduleid = m.id WHERE m.published = 1 AND m.access <= 2 AND m.client_id = 1 ORDER BY position, ordering

But Lo and behold!!! It actually looks like it installed! I'm nervious about the error message though. Anyone have any ideas?

seems like your this might be due to installing civicrm on a server with limited resources

you might want to see if this method works for you:

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,9973.msg42841.html#msg42841

however its a beta4 release, and you might want to tweak it to use the latest 3.0.2 release
