I am experimenting with an install of CiviCRM 2.2.3 installed with Drupal 6.12

I want to be able to attach files to Contact records. So that, for example I can upload and save a PDF document with a CiviCRM Contact.

By creating a custom data field of type "file" I am able to attach a single file to a CiviCRM contact, but what if I want to add more than one file to the contact? Is there any way of doing this other than adding additional custom file fields? The latter option would be inconvenient because obviously it's not necessarily possible to predict how many file fields will be used.

Ideally, I would like to be able to add a Multiple File field to a contact, as is possible using Drupal's CCK module, whereby the same field can be used to add just one file, or many.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can let me know if this is possible?
