November 04, 2009, 09:30:34 am
Why is there a price set none?
How can I turn it off?

You need to set the "Required" field. For existing price sets, go to "View and Edit Price Fields" and select "Edit Price Field". Scroll towards the bottom of the page to find the checkbox "Required?" and set that.

I would like to change the template for this ONE form to make -none- say 'Not Now' for example.
Knowing civicrm's template process what file would I move into the template folder to hook this text.
Thanks

alfred_nutile  :

You might want to make change in following files :

CRM/Price/BAO/Field.php in v3.1 around line no 269
CRM/Core/BAO/PriceField.php in v3.0 around line no 304

Price set code has been re-structured in 3.1 along with support for contributions, hence the change.

so all the wording is good but if you choose what once was -none- you still get an error
'Select at least one from Event Fee(s)'
I tested it as well on the demo site.
http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=15
Just wondering if we are using the price set incorrectly?
This event is a register online event with fees.
This price set was going to hopefully allow for a sliding scale all the way down to 0.
So the price set gave as the option of 0 for those who can not afford it with the -none- option.
But you get this error.
Any thoughts on how to make this work as a paid even that other can sign up for even if they can not pay?
The pay later is an option but seems kinda confusing.
