Receipt shows empty line items?

I've set up a set of radio buttons in a price set, but when I select the "--none--" option an extra line item shows up on the confirmation and thank you pages with a blank item name and unit price but a quantity of 1 and a total of $0.00.  Similarly, when you enter "0" in a ticket quantity field instead of leaving it blank, it shows up as a line item with a name, qty of 0, correct unit price, and total of $0.00.  Seems to me the line items should be omitted in both these cases.  Screenshots below:

Both the issues are bugs. Please file an issue for this and point to the forum post. If important to you, please consider submitting a patch along with an issue (this will ensure it gets fixed in the 3.1 release, else it will be fixed in some future release)

OK, ticket created.  If I get a chance to track this one down and fix it for this project, I'll share the patch.

We have already fixed the radio button case for v3.1
during our price set phase II functionality enhancement.
