Internal Server Error

I am in the process of installing CiviCRM and have got to the stage of running the installer. I have logged into:

http://mysite/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/install/index.php

and get the following error message:

"Internal Server Error, this is an error with your script, check your error log for more information."

So I'm now a bit stuck. I can finding nothing in the forum that seems to address this. And where to find this error log?

Any ideas or solutions anyone?

Please check with your hosting provider about the location of your php/apache error log.
