Hi All,

First of all thanks to all the amazing guys at CiviCRM, it's a wonderful piece of tool kudos guys

I have setup Contribution/membership pages, events etc. The users will have the option to create a user (with username and password). When an existing user try to signup to an event or membership, they are taken back to the homepage when they enter the username and password.

Is there any way we can fix this problem.

I am using Joomla 1.5.14 and CiviCRM 3.0.1

Steps to duplicate the problem.
Goto http://demo.hibatullah.net/index.php?option=com_civicrm&view=Contributions&Itemid=53
Click on "Please login" link
Enter username temp password temp

This takes you back to the homepage instead of staying in membership page.

We've fixed this for Drupal for the next release:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5360

We did NOT fix it for Joomla sites (yet) because I could not find a mechanism in Joomla similar to the "destination=$goBackToThisURLAfterLogin" that Drupal has. If you know or can find a way that we can pass a redirect after login URL to the login form, I can get that implemented.
