Menu option 'Search...' is not translated
November 08, 2009, 01:35:58 pm
Although Pootle indicates that 'Search...' should be translated to 'Zoek...' in the Dutch language, the menu still displays the English version. Is this a special case?

Are all the other menu strings translated?

First, I think I only translated that string a couple of days ago (together with some others). So they will only be available with the next distibution. You can grab it yourself, compile-t and use it if you need it now.
Secondly, It looks like the Navigation menu is not always translated. But you can translate it directly via the menu:
Beheer >> Aanpassen >> Navigation menu.
Right-click on an item and you can translate it.

Thanks, JoopSJ.

I added the translation as well and downloaded the complete translation file. But this did not do the trick. Perhaps the '...' added may have something to do with the translation.

Changing the menu the way you suggested (editing in stead of translating) works (but restricts me to Dutch now).

Hi, sorry for the delay – I finally filed CRM-5456 and fixed it, so the menu should work properly in 3.0.3 (and 3.1).
