Hi All,

Doing mailouts using Civmail to a particular group. All seems to be okay generally. However a small number are not getting the mail and when I look at the report they are not shown as having been sent the letter.

• They are members of the group
• They are not on a do not mail list
• They are a small minority, about 20 out of 1300
• They have email addresses
• They have received mails form this list before (before the upgrade to 3.0, if that helps)

In short. All looks right.

Any clues as to where to start looking?

If I could run a search for people in that list who didn't get sent the mailing that would help to try and determine any common features.

have they "opted out" of all bulk mailings from a prior mailing?

or are they "unsubscribed" from the specific mailing groups (i.e. is their status Removed or Pending)

Hmmm, may be missing something here, but this one seems to relate to bounces. My problem is that these aren't listing as bounces, they're just not going to a small group of people.

Have you tried to run the cron by hand ?

I had a problem with a " in a name, that wasn't properly escaped and stopped the sending.

Thanks Xavier. Cron doesn't seem to be the problem as it is consistently the same very few (about 20 from 1300) not getting it.

I checked for the special characters, but there were none.

Still, it's useful to know to look out for that in future and I appreciate the suggestion.
