Email Signature?

Hi,

I'm probably missing something blindingly obvious here but I can't see how you can set something like a personalised .signature for emails that you send to individual contacts.  (i.e. personalised for the user, not the contact)

In CiviMail I can use the footer, but is there an option for something like this in individual emails?

no option for that exists for individual emails (as yet)

would make a nice community contribution. wanna write a patch for it? I suspect u'll need to store the information either in a custom table or extend the contact table

I'd love to write a patch for it, but it might well take a while as I'm still only learning php and the intricacies of under-the-bonnet civicrm...!  Thanks for the info, as always, lobo.
