My client is having a problem with CiviCRM. She's using Drupal 5.x and either version 2.0.6 or 2.07 of CiviCRM.

When members register it requires a payment from paypal. When they go through registration, at the point where it should be forwarding the new user to paypal it forwards back to the home page. I am asking her to go through registration and give me the urls of each page it goes through, and the final page when it should be going to a paypal page.

She had a similar problem to this before which when an existing user would renew membership it would forward to paypal but to a broken paypal URL. Basically, this issue - http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,7836.0.html . I had to make some changes in one of the files for her and it worked properly after that.

I would love any hints on what could be going on here.

unfortunately u r on your own out here. we stopped support for 2.0.x quite some time ago and to be honest, have really no idea why the below might occur

if u cant upgrade, you might want to see if someone on http://civicrm.org/professional/ can help debug the issue for you
