Action links in Activity search results

The action links on custom activity search page are linked to the contact object instead of activity object although the links on other search results are correctly linked to the corresponding object (member results -> member view/edit, contribution results -> contribution view/edit) Why is the activity result set inconsistent compared to other searches?

the custom search framework is for contact records only. hence all custom search results link to contact records. Hence the behavior of the custom activity search page

if important to you, please consider contributing code and/or sponsoring a developer to address this limitation

Hi Tara,

I am looking for something similar where you able to solve the problem?

basically I need to Print a "Letter based on custom activity fields" can you give me a hint on how to do this?

I know civicrm from functional side not so technically!.
