Using CiviCRM changelog data
November 13, 2009, 02:17:57 am
I want to create a  smart group of records that were edited in the last 7 days so I can expose it through Drupal Views as part of a management console for our admin staff, but the smart group criteria is set in stone, so I can only choose an start date and end date for the group criteria rather than a rolling "last 7 days". Can anyone think of a way round this? Really it would be good if changelog data was exposed to Drupal Views, but it's not at the moment.

Allowing relative dates in search is something we plan to add in a future release. if important to you/your org please consider contributing code / sponsoring a developer so this makes it into a future release. We've already introduced this feature in reports

Exposing changelog to Drupal Views should be relatively easy. If you do so, please submit the patch along with an issue.
